I rebooted twice (due to the installation of drivers), and still no luck? Im guessing some option needs to be verified in the program or something? Also what exactly did you mean by - Have you installed the Intel Matrix storage Driver, my DVD-Drive tended to only work until first auto-disabling and then stoped working until a full reboot (hibernate didn't work) after intallation of the storage driver it works perfectly. What I had to do was; 1. I created a new partition (on the same hard drive) and temporarily installed Vista on the Partition (Making it a Dual Boot PC). After Windows Vista was installed, I went into the Device manager, to find that the DVD Drive was successfully installed. In windows explorer, I went to the directory D: WINDOWS System32 drivers and copied the file cdrom.sys and moved it to the partition in which Windows 7 was installed (C: ). (Note: In this case D: was the partition in which Windows Vista was installed, and C: was the drive in which Windows 7 was installed.) 4. I booted into Windows 7, and the driver was successfully installed. If anyone else is experiencing this same problem, and needs help with resolving it, please do not be afraid to PM me or post on this same Message.
