Setting Up Packages for Active Directory GPO Installations If you use Active Directory Group Policy Objects (GPO) to automatically distribute software packages in a domain, you can create and configure a custom package to be used by the GPO for installation. Use this method if remote installations from the CommCell Console do not meet your needs and if you prefer to use Active Directory GPO installations. Use the following procedure to set up the custom package and configure the GPO.

Step 1: Create the Custom Package Prerequisite Download the latest Simpana ® software using the Download Manager application.
