Romanzo enorme formato da una trilogia e che raggiunge quasi le 1200 pagine.Con queste proporzioni prima di intraprendere la lettura ero un po'spaventato ma ben presto mi sono appassionato alla trama del romanzo e a tutti i vari personaggi che si succedono nell'arco di circa cento anni di storia italiana.Certo,come quasi in tutte le opere voluminose forse l'autore poteva risparmiarci qualche pagina,ma lo si puo'perdonare senza dubbio perche' scrive meravigliosamente bene e c'e' sempre da imparare qualcosa.Ciao a tutti e al prossimo.
