Not sure how. Either i cracked it or it spontaneously cracked. Yesterday I was listening to iheart and my phone restarted as usual. Thats nothing new, iheartradio has been restarting my s7 since i got it, but i thought maybe after the update they put out. Well this time it restarted and i lost my google keyboard, and a boatload of settings I had in place.

I lost the ability to double press the home button for camera, or to press the settings icon from th epulldown menu. THe phone felt hotter then it normally does almost like i was charging it and battery was draining quick. I talked to samsung live chat nothing helped except doing factory reset and all was well for the most part.

Mar 02, 2016 Samsung’s Galaxy S7. Which phone can survive these brutal drop. Though the glass on the back of the phone ends up being the first to crack.

It did stop charging on the qi pad last night for some odd reason but worked fine all day. Cant explain that. Well I noticed a crack in the rear glass today like an inch long. Well I happened to be at teh mall and noticed a samsung customer service center which i never even new existed. I asked them if its possible it cracked from the heat and they said not likely because of how how they heat up the phone to remove the glass etc.
